Educational Program Hospitalitas
An educational and innovative experience for all ages.
The Las Edades del Hombre Foundation, through its multiple activities, aims to manage and promote cultural heritage as a lever for sustainable development. In this context, education and dissemination are key aspects addressed in the exhibition cycle of Las Edades del Hombre, and with Hospitalitas, they celebrate their twenty-seventh edition.
For this purpose, a new educational project is presented for the school community and families through content adapted to each curriculum stage to bring the exhibition’s narrative visually and literally to the youngest audiences.
Hospitalitas dedicates morning hours weekly for the free reception of students, organizing groups of 20-25 students through their educational centers.
Hospitalitas in Villafranca del Bierzo
In collaboration with the Education Delegation team of the Diocese of Astorga, two educational guides have been prepared, adapting the exhibition’s narrative for primary and secondary school students, respectively.
“Lázaro quiere saber” and the “Libro de Bitácora” facilitate understanding and preparatory work before the visit to make it an attractive experience around hospitality through the beauty of sacred art. These activity booklets can be obtained in physical format at the exhibition and downloaded from the following links.
